Product description — Evil Twin+

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Evil Twin+ is the premium version of one of the most popular twin-tip boards in the Bataleon lineup: it shares the same freestyle DNA but features higher-end materials for riders who want to get the most out of every session. It’s a board built for the park and the mountain, with no compromises on responsiveness or weight.

What’s the deal with the Bataleon Evil Twin+ snowboard?

The Evil Twin+ is a freestyle board tailored for the park: kickers, rails, and boxes. The twin-tip shape means the board is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, making it just as comfortable riding switch as it is riding regular. The classic camber provides pop on takeoff, solid edge grip, and crisp precision in turns. On kickers, you’ll feel that energy the moment you load up the board before the jump.

Who is the Bataleon Evil Twin+ snowboard designed for?

The Evil Twin+ is designed for advanced to expert riders who want to ride a park board without compromising on precision and responsiveness.

  • Intermediate to expert riders, comfortable in the park and all over the resort
  • Snowboarders who ride both regular and switch
  • Riders who demand a lightweight board with a responsive feel

A top choice if you’re looking for a responsive, precise park twin-tip built to last.

Avoid this if you’re a beginner or want a forgiving board.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Bataleon Evil Twin+ Snowboard

How does Carbon Stringers technology affect the board’s performance?

Carbon Stringers incorporate carbon fibers into the board’s construction, making it lighter and more responsive: you’ll feel more pop when taking off and better power transfer from your feet. The carbon also absorbs some of the vibrations.

Does SideKick technology change the way you enter turns?

SideKick technology slightly raises the edges at the contact points on the nose and tail. In practice, turn entries are smoother, and the board grips the snow gradually rather than biting into it abruptly.

What kind of base does the Evil Twin+ have, and how does it make a difference in everyday riding?

The Evil Twin+ features the Nano Speed S base, a high-density sintered base that offers optimal glide. It’ll send you flying and help you pull off big airs.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
