Description

The Feelbetter is part of Bataleon's 99% Twin Directional range. These boards combine good freestyle playability with perfect maneuverability and versatility for an all-mountain practice, i.e. all over the resort. The Feelbetter is a simple and efficient snowboard, with a wood shell offering a soft/medium flex for responsiveness while maintaining maximum Comfort.  

What is the programme of the Bataleon Feelbetter snowboard?  

For more control in turns, better control in the air, these are the advantages of this twin directional shape. The light classic camber and the well-balanced flex of this board provide you with greater riding pleasure and comfort. The grip is reassuring on the track, just enough to be able to engage a bit and increase speed, but you remain on a rather permissive board when making mistakes or awkward landings after a risky trick. Finally, the slightly convex shape of the spatulas, with 3BT and Sidekick, provides more ease in the ski/snow contact, whether it is to increase tolerance on edge faults or to improve the glide quality on transformed snow and small powder.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
