Product description — Feelbetter

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Feelbetter is the board from Bataleon’s women’s line designed for those who want to improve without overcomplicating things: accessible, fun, and built to ride the entire mountain without having to specialize too quickly. The brand’s spirit shines through—that "feel good on your board" vibe—and it’s evident in every design choice.

What’s the deal with the Bataleon Feelbetter snowboard?

The Feelbetter is an all-mountain board with a freestyle bent: it rides everywhere on the mountain, from groomed runs to park features, without ever forcing the rider into a single style of riding. The twin-directional shape is generally symmetrical with a slight offset, which makes switching feet easier while maintaining consistent handling. The classic camber (the board is arched in the center when laid flat) provides grip on groomed runs and pop. Bataleon calls this profile "Medium Camber," a moderated version of classic camber designed to remain accessible without sacrificing responsiveness.

Who is the Bataleon Feelbetter snowboard designed for?

The Feelbetter is designed for beginner to intermediate female snowboarders who want a forgiving board on which to progress at their own pace, without frustration.

  • Riders who are learning to master their turns and are looking for a board that forgives positioning mistakes
  • Those who are starting to explore the entire resort and want a board that can keep up, including runs and small features
  • The snowboarder looking for a board designed for women’s body types: the flex and construction are calibrated for lighter weights

A top choice if you want a board that’s easy to handle, truly forgiving, and supports your progress.

Avoid this if you’re looking for a board built for big jumps or plan to spend your season in the park.

Can you ride the Feelbetter switch?

Yes, the twin-directional shape is designed for that: the nearly symmetrical shape between the nose and tail makes riding switch feel natural and comfortable. It’s a real asset for a rider who’s just starting to explore this style of riding.

What exactly does the Bi-Ax Laminate bring to this board?

The Bi-Ax Laminate is a fiberglass weave oriented in two directions, resulting in a board that’s flexible and consistent in its flex. On the Feelbetter, this translates to a playful board that’s easy to bend, ideal for trying out your first tricks or simply riding in a relaxed manner.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
