An all-mountain board designed to handle the entire mountain, with the character of a freeride board that doesn’t forget about groomed runs. A solid choice for snowboarders who want a single board capable of handling it all, season after season.

What’s the deal with the Bataleon Goliath snowboard?

The Goliath is a versatile board with a freeride focus: it’s at home on the trail and off-piste, with a real preference for the edges of the trail and powder runs. Its directional twin shape allows for effortless switch riding while maintaining forward-facing handling. The classic camber provides pop, solid grip on groomed snow, and precise edge control: it demands an aggressive riding style, but it pays off. On a freshly groomed run, the edges bite well and the board stays planted even at high speeds.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
