Description

The Bataleon Men's Stereo is the freestyle board from the Bataleon lineup designed to let you ride the entire mountain without any hassle: a twintip shape, classic camber, and a construction built to tear up the park and cruise the slopes. A board that embraces its freestyle character while remaining versatile enough for the entire mountain.

What’s the deal with the Bataleon Men’s Stereo snowboard?

The Bataleon Men’s Stereo is a versatile freestyle board, built for the park and kickers, but capable of handling the rest of the mountain between sessions. The 3D Twin (twintip) shape is perfectly symmetrical: the nose and tail are identical, providing exactly the same feel riding regular and switch. The classic camber delivers pop, solid edge grip, and crisp precision. SideKick technology slightly raises the board’s tips at the contact points, which smooths out transitions from one edge to the other and makes turn entries feel more natural.

Who is the Bataleon Men’s Stereo snowboard designed for?

The Bataleon Men’s Stereo is designed for intermediate to advanced snowboarders who want a freestyle board that delivers in the park without sacrificing performance on the rest of the mountain.

  • Riders who spend their days between kickers, rails, and groomed runs
  • The rider looking for pop and grip without sacrificing fluidity in all conditions

A top choice if you want an energetic, precise freestyle board that’s equally at home in the park and on the groomed runs.

Avoid this if your main playground is powder: the Men’s Stereo isn’t designed for that.

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Men’s Stereo snowboard?

Responsiveness

Is the Men’s Stereo comfortable to ride switch?

Yes, the 3D Twin shape is designed for that: the nose and tail are exactly the same, which provides identical handling in both directions. You won’t feel any difference between riding forward and switch.

What is the flex of the Bataleon Men’s Stereo?

The Men's Stereo features a medium flex that’s firm and precise underfoot. It requires a bit of effort to get the most out of it, offering good responsiveness when exiting turns and taking off on jumps.

What base does the Bataleon Men’s Stereo have?

It features the Hyper Glide S base, a sintered base that withstands the impacts of freestyle riding well and glides efficiently once waxed. This is Bataleon’s standard base, offering a good balance between durability and performance.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
