Pow enthusiasts, the Party Wave is waiting for you. This Bataleon directional board offers a shape that any deep snow rider will recognize. Narrower tail, wider nose, traditional camber under the feet, all the ingredients to provide maximum control and fun on powder. You'll also find the Pop Core wood core, reinforced by fiberglass, Shock Walls sidewalls and the Hyper Glide 5 base for better glide on soft snow. Let's not forget Bataleon’s signature, the 3BT tips to take the playfulness to 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. 

What is the programme of the Bataleon Party Wave snowboard? 

The Party Wave is a very directional board, with lots of width on the nose and a tapered tail that provides plenty of floatability on deep snow. This shape offers lots of back foot control and better floatability, while the camber provides precision when turning. It also guarantees good grip on hardpack, in case you have to ride groomed snow. Even if the board is a 100% powder model, it’ll allow you to enjoy groomers. Don't forget this board is designed primarily for fun. Ideal on powder, playful everywhere.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
