Product description — Women's Stereo

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Women's Stereo is a board designed for female snowboarders who want to improve their skills with a board capable of riding anywhere in the resort, including the park.

What is the Bataleon Women's Stereo snowboard designed for?

The Bataleon Women's Stereo is an all-mountain board with a freestyle focus: it rides just as well on groomed runs as it does in the park. It’s a twintip (a perfectly symmetrical board, meaning you ride exactly the same way in regular and switch, with no compromise in either direction). The profile is a classic camber, meaning the board is arched underfoot, which provides pop on takeoff and good precision on groomed snow.

Who is the Bataleon Women’s Stereo snowboard designed for?

The Women’s Stereo is designed for intermediate to advanced female snowboarders who want a serious freestyle board without sacrificing versatility on the rest of the mountain.

  • Riders who are starting to get the hang of the park and want a board that really responds on kickers
  • Snowboarders who alternate between freestyle sessions and the slopes, and is looking for a single board to handle both
  • The advanced rider who wants a precise and responsive board

A top choice if you want to improve your skills across the entire mountain and do freestyle with a single board.

Avoid this if you’re looking for a board to ride mainly in powder.

What are the main features of the Bataleon Women’s Stereo snowboard?

Responsiveness

What is Bataleon’s 3BT technology?

3BT (Triple Base Technology) is Bataleon’s signature construction: the base is divided into three slightly angled zones, which reduces edge contact points on flat surfaces and facilitates transitions from one edge to the other. Combined with SideKick, this results in smoother edge transitions and fewer accidental snags.

What exactly is the HyCap construction?

HyCap combines a cap construction (a lightweight, wraparound top shell) with PU sidewalls along the edges of the board, which better protects the edges from repeated impacts while keeping the weight down.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
