Description

The Feelgood Smalls is the children's version of the Burton Feelgood women's snowboard. With a construction and flex adapted to the needs of young snowboarders, this board is based on the freestyle/all-mountain program of the adult version. Playability, dynamism and versatility are the key words of the Feelgood Smalls.

What is the program of the Burton Feelgood Smalls snowboard?

The Feelgood Smalls is a versatile and well-balanced performance board. Its fiberglass-reinforced wood shell provides stability and bounce during turns, while remaining comfortable to ride and not too energy consuming You can enjoy the compromise between performance/playability on all terrains, as the camber + rocker profile works equally well on the slopes as it does on small off-piste areas. Thus, the classic camber section provides a secure grip on hard snow, while the rocker zones allow you to glide better on fresh snow. The terrain can therefore be varied according to your desires and conditions. Finally, the more advanced young snowboarders will appreciate the "twin-tip" shape of the Feelgood Smalls. Indeed, with its perfectly symmetrical shape from nose to tail, it can be ridden in both switch and regular and can be used for a bit of freestyle.

Who is the Burton Feelgood Smalls snowboard designed for?

We recommend this model to young snowboarders of intermediate to advanced level in need of a versatile and evolutionary snowboard for a continued progression that enables to pass a new technical milestone this winter!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
