Product description — Process Good Dog

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

A true icon within Burton’s line-up, the Process epitomises the all-round freestyle snowboard. Its twin-tip shape, balanced flex and camrock profile combine to deliver effortless freestyle performance, while maintaining excellent control both on groomers and in the backcountry.

What is the Burton Process snowboard designed for?

Its full twin shape, paired with centred inserts, makes riding switch remarkably intuitive. The traditional camber and wood core work hand in hand with triaxial fibreglass to provide a well-balanced flex – giving plenty of pop for ollies, precision through turns, and lively response at the board’s tips. The rocker smooths turn initiation, adds forgiveness, and enhances float when the snow gets deeper.

Who is the Burton Process snowboard for?

With its freestyle character, this board is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders who want to explore the entire mountain with style and playfulness.

What are the main strengths of the Burton Process snowboard?

Playful character

Is the Process Good Dog really suitable for switch riding?

Absolutely – the true twin shape means the nose and tail are completely identical, allowing you to ride switch just as naturally as in your regular stance.

How does the Super Fly II 700G core affect the board’s performance?

The FSC Super Fly II 700G core is a lightweight wood construction that reduces the board’s overall weight without compromising responsiveness.

On what type of snow are Frostbite edges most effective?

Frostbite edges extend slightly beneath the bindings – the area where pressure is greatest and edge hold matters most. On hardpack, they deliver solid grip without requiring excessive edge angle or effort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
