Product description — Yeasayer Flora

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Designed for female riders who love to pull off tricks anywhere, the Burton Yeasayer stands out for its all-terrain freestyle focus. The symmetrical twin-tip shape combines with the dynamic camrock profile to make this board easy to maneuver and naturally playful.

What’s the Burton Yeasayer snowboard all about?

A centered stance and twin-tip shape give freestyle enthusiasts great freedom of movement, whether riding regular or switch. Its intermediate flex retains enough flexibility to stay playful, while delivering generous pop. This board is also versatile across the entire ski area, where every corner of the mountain becomes a playground depending on your mood.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Burton Yeasayer Flora Snowboard

Can you ride the Burton Yeasayer Flora equally well switch and regular?

Yes, its True Twin shape is strictly symmetrical from tip to tail: there’s no difference in performance between the two riding directions. It’s a board designed from the start to be ridden in both directions to maximize creativity and offer a variety of riding experiences.

Is the Yeasayer Flora’s core FSC-certified?

Yes, Burton uses a Super Fly 800G core made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified wood, which guarantees responsible management of harvested forests. This is a core commitment at Burton, not just a marketing gimmick.

What type of snow are the Frostbite edges best suited for?

Frostbite edges extend slightly beyond the board’s standard width at the feet, increasing contact with the snow and improving grip on hard or icy snow. On groomed runs at the end of the day or in cold weather, this makes a tangible difference in the precision of your turns.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
