The Drake Charm women's snowboard helps you improve your skills on the slopes while remaining maneuverable enough to explore the edges of the runs where the snow is softer. Its forgiving ride helps build confidence in turns and makes weight shifts easier without making the board too technical to ride.

What is the Drake Charm snowboard designed for?

As a versatile freeride board, it’s designed for riding on groomed snow as well as in shallow fresh snow at the edge of the slopes. The W Rocker profile combines camber zones underfoot with rocker between the feet and at the tips to maintain a forgiving ride while retaining grip on packed snow. The twin-directional shape offers maneuverability and helps the board float better in light powder. The slightly rear-set bindings and flexible nose improve performance in these conditions. The Power Wood Core provides enough responsiveness to help you progress.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
