Description

The Gnu Antigravity has a directional shape that allows for more efficiency in turns and more lift in powder. Its classic camber is precise and powerful, its Magne-Traction edges offer a good grip and its construction is powerful, durable and responsible.

What is the program of the GNU Antigravity snowboard?

The Gnu Antigravity is a great board to ride on any terrain. You'll appreciate its manoeuvrability, with a directional shape and a slight setback that offers more control and easier entry into turns. The aspen/paulownia core embedded in two layers of fiberglass also helps, offering rebound and stability without being too demanding on the thighs. With this board, you can make turns without getting tired of it and it's efficient in all conditions. It floats very well in powder and has a good grip on hard snow. A great board for carving and freeriding.

Who is the GNU Antigravity snowboard for?

Accessible for intermediate + level, this snowboard is ideal for advanced riders looking to carve and ride off-piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
