Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Gnu's Riders Choice is a multi-faceted freestyle board designed for both experienced and advanced riders. Featuring a W Rocker profile and full Twintip design, it stands out for its responsiveness and energetic relaunching ability out of turns. Its core of Aspen/Paulownia wood combined with Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fiberglass lamination gives it a lightness that's fun to ride and the response to set the pace.

What's in it for the Gnu Riders Choice snowboard?

Designed for all-round freestyle, the Riders Choice is for those who like to explore every terrain and turn every bump into a potential kicker. Thanks to its W Rocker profile, it is agile and energetic for rotations, jumps and technical passages. Its Aspen/Paulownia core, combined with cross-linked fiberglass, ensures a lightweight feel, providing good pop for launching airs and effective cushioning on landing. Its asymmetrical shape and C2 camber guarantee excellent grip and finesse in turns.

Who is the Gnu Riders Choice snowboard for?

The Riders Choice is dedicated to seasoned snowboarders looking for a board capable of accompanying their progression on all types of terrain. Thanks to its adaptability and intuitive handling, it will appeal to those wishing to alternate between freestyle modules, groomed pistes and off-piste.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
