Change at Jones, the Dream Catcher becomes the Dream Weaver. Change of name but not of program, the Dream Weaver is still very versatile, responsive and enjoyable to ride in the entire resort.  

What is the program of the Jones Dream Weaver snowboard?  

The aim of the Dream Weaver is ideal for freeriding and freestyling all over the mountains. To do so, it benefits from directional shape and flex, allowing to have great manoeuvrability in mixed snow conditions, while retaining playfulness and enabling to ride switch. The board’s directional shape, slightly setback inserts and more substantial rocker at the front than the back provide lift and lots of smoothness when linking turns, while the classic camber and Traction Tech 2.0 edges provides grip on hardpack. The flex is accessible yet dynamic, enabling to descend at a good pace while remaining comfortable for the legs.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
