The Jones Rally Cat is a versatile freestyle snowboard designed for riding on the groomed runs, off-piste, and in the park, with a classic camber that delivers pop, grip, and rebound.

What is the Jones Rally Cat snowboard’s intended use?

The Rally Cat is a versatile freestyle board, with enough agility for jibbing and enough responsiveness for jumps. Its twin-directional shape maintains good ease in switch while providing more stability and control in the natural riding direction. The classic camber enhances grip on hard snow, as well as pop and acceleration coming out of turns. The construction combines Control Core, Biax fiber, 3D Contour Base 1.0, Eco Plastic topsheet, Flip Flop sole, and Sintered 8000 base to deliver maneuverability, glide, and durability.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
