This board is the solution for demanding snowboarders looking for a freeride-oriented model. A board that follows you in the mountains, looking for lines that require commitment. It benefits from a sustainable construction, using recycled or natural materials and FSC certified wood.

What is the program of the Jones Solution splitboard?

The FSC certified Ultra Split Core in the heart of the Jones Solution pairs light weight with nice performances, it is reinforced by glass fibre and linen and basalt stringers to improve torsional stiffness. The board is stable at high-speed and allows to link turns at Mach 2 without flinching. The classic camber and serrated inner/outer edges ensure failproof grip on hardpack, while the large volume nose has rocker to provide great floatability in powder. The behaviour in fresh snow is also improved by the setback position of the inserts, which facilitate turn initiations. The 3D Contour Base shape of the tips smoothens the Solution’s edge transfers which remains a powerful board to trace beautiful lines off-piste.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
