Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Twin Sister is an all-around directional twin with a wood shell that offers responsiveness and stability without being too physically demanding. It's a board that's easy to handle and with which you can switch from freestyle to an all-mountain practice without problems. Of course, it benefits from the high-end and ecological construction of the Jones Snowboards.

What is the program of the Jones Twin Sister snowboard?

With its twin directional shape, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly setback foot position, the Twin Sister borrows the manoeuvrability and versatility of a freeride snowboard while maintaining the switch balance and skills of a freestyle snowboard. It also has a camber + rocker profile, that offers grip, bounce and fluidity in turns on the piste, whilst operating in powder. The combination of the Traction Tech 3.0 and the 3D Contour Base 2.0 technology provides both great grip where you need it and a little more forgiveness near the spatulas where grip is not required. So, you have a board that is really fun to ride, with the added toning flex for ollie pop while maintaining playability on the spatulas.

Who is the Jones Twin Sister snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level for a snowboarder looking to progress, this model will also please very experienced snowboarders looking to ride on all terrains while maintaining playability for freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
