The Jones Ultralight Project X is a snowboard that pushes the boundaries of performance and versatility. Inspired by the Stratos, this model is designed for advanced to expert snowboarders seeking a lightweight and efficient board, capable of shredding hard both on groomers and in the backcountry. 

What is the programme of the Jones Ultralight Project X snowboard? 

This is an all-terrain board that doesn’t compromise on performance. Its Fusion Carbon and Koroyd Core, combined to the Ultra Base and carbon reinforcements, for a lightweight but strong board, with lots of pop. The hybrid camber and directional shape guarantee excellent grip and plenty of responsiveness, while the tapered shape of the tail offers unmatched powder floatability. Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
