Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Women's Dream Weaver is a directional freeride snowboard for women, designed to handle both powder and groomed runs in a single day, with a softer flex that remains playful and well-suited for lighter riders.

What are the features of the Jones Women's Dream Weaver snowboard?

Its directional shape, with a wider nose and rear-set inserts, shifts the center of buoyancy forward and makes it easier to float in powder. The hybrid camber profile combines a pronounced nose rocker, camber underfoot for grip and pop, and a slightly raised tail that provides forgiveness when initiating turns. The Blunt Nose and 3D-contoured base enhance float without weighing down the front, while Traction Tech increases the number of edge contact points for better grip on hard snow. The sintered base glides fast and lasts a long time, though it requires slightly more frequent maintenance.

Who is the Jones Women’s Dream Weaver snowboard designed for?

Riders looking for a single board to explore the entire mountain—from powder to groomed runs—will find a directional board here that’s forgiving of minor mistakes thanks to its soft flex. It’s designed for intermediate to advanced riders: forgiving enough to help you improve, yet precise enough to reward clean riding once you’ve gained confidence.

Versatility

Does the Dream Weaver float well in powder?

Yes. The pronounced nose rocker, rear-set inserts, and Blunt Nose shift the lift forward and make it easier to float in deep snow.

Is it suitable for the snowpark?

That’s not its intended use. Its directional shape and setback make it better suited for freeriding and all-mountain riding rather than jibbing or features, though it handles occasional jumps on the edge of the trail just fine.

Does it hold up on hard snow?

Yes. The camber underfoot and Traction Tech, which increases the number of contact points along the edge, give it solid grip on groomed or hard-packed snow.

How does it differ from the Jones Women’s Twin Sister?

The Dream Weaver is more directional and powder-oriented, with a pronounced setback and a high-profile nose. The Twin Sister is a more balanced directional twin, better suited for riding switch and in the park. While they share a similar profile, one prioritizes float and directional control, while the other emphasizes freestyle versatility.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
