Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Women's Rally Cat is a versatile freestyle snowboard for women, comfortable from the park to the slopes, combining the pop of a classic camber with a soft, playful flex so you can ride the whole mountain without losing that park spirit.

What are the features of the Jones Women's Rally Cat snowboard?

A twin-directional board with classic camber, the Rally Cat grips and launches with precision while remaining maneuverable. The full-length camber provides pop for jumps and stability on the groomed runs, and the soft flex makes it forgiving for jibbing and beginner tricks. Its twin shape, with inserts set only slightly back, allows you to ride switch while maintaining a slightly directional feel. The Sintered 8000 base ensures fast, long-lasting glide.

Who is the Jones Women’s Rally Cat snowboard designed for?

The Rally Cat is aimed at female riders who spend most of their time in the park and on the slopes and want a playful board to help them progress in freestyle. Its soft flex and accessible camber are suitable for intermediate to advanced riders, from perfecting tricks to riding switch and tackling more challenging jumps.

What are the main features of the Jones Women’s Rally Cat snowboard?

Pop

Maneuverability

Forgiveness

Is the Rally Cat suitable for the snowpark?

Yes. Its twin shape and classic camber provide pop for jumps and forgiveness for jibbing, making it a versatile board on features and kickers alike.

Can you ride it switch?

Yes. Its twin shape, with inserts set only slightly back, maintains balanced handling in both directions and makes riding switch easier.

Does it float in powder?

Moderately. Its classic camber and near-twin shape make it best suited for the park and the groomed runs. In powder, it gets the job done but can’t compete with a dedicated directional board.

How does it differ from the Jones Women’s Twin Sister?

The Rally Cat features a classic camber, which offers more grip and pop, designed for the park and the groomed runs. The Twin Sister features a hybrid camber with rockers at the nose and tail, making it more forgiving and offering better float, and therefore more versatile for all-mountain riding. With a similar twin-directional shape, one is more suited for freestyle and the slopes, while the other is more suited for all-mountain riding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
