Looking for a board that can handle freeriding, freestyle, and on-piste riding? The K2 Antidote lets you ride without compromise. This snowboard is exceptionally versatile and designed to excel at freeriding, while still delivering great performance in the park and on groomed snow.

What’s the K2 Antidote snowboard all about?

With the K2 Antidote, every line becomes accessible. Its A1 Core—a carefully engineered blend of aspen, bamboo, and paulownia—allows it to combine lightness, durability, and responsiveness for smooth transitions from edge to edge. Its firm flex, combined with Carbon Darkweb technology—featuring precisely placed carbon fibers—guarantees efficient energy transfer and enhanced stability when carving wide turns at high speeds. Designed for freeride, it still offers real freestyle potential thanks to its directional twin shape, ideal for pulling off a few tricks in the snowpark. Integrated into the construction, ICG 20 technology enhances responsiveness and pop, adding spring to every push-off. Finally, the Wax Infused Sintered 4001 base offers fast, durable glide, while the 3D Contour Base at the tip helps push away soft snow to improve grip and make turn initiation smoother.

Who is the K2 Antidote snowboard designed for?

The K2 Antidote is designed for intermediate to expert snowboarders looking for a technical, dynamic board capable of combining aggressive freeriding, powerful turns, and fun freestyle riding. It’s perfect for all-around riders who want to tackle the entire mountain with a single board, without sacrificing high-level performance.

What are the main features of the K2 Antidote snowboard?

Versatile

Responsive

Stable

Is the Antidote suitable for the snowpark?

It’s geared more toward kickers than jibbing: its pop and stability are well-suited for jumps, but less so for technical rails.

Does the Antidote float well in powder?

Yes, its directional twin shape gives it good float in deep snow while maintaining agility.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
