Product description — Chloro

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The K2 Chloro is a snowboard ideal for riders who want an accessible, playful and forgiving model to progress on all terrains. True to K2's reputation, it combines versatility and ease of use, with a construction designed to instill confidence from the very first descents. Its directional twin shape and flat camber offer maximum forgiveness and stability, perfect for pressing down the slope, trying your hand at freestyle or getting into the pow without getting headstrong.

What's the program for the K2 Chloro snowboard?

The K2 Chloro is a typical all-round freestyle board, armed with a flat profile that emphasizes forgiveness and stability, without neglecting a bit of pop for slamming presses and slope-side fun. Its directional twin shape keeps you nimble for tricks while ensuring better flotation when the snow gets deeper. It's the board that goes everywhere without flinching, whether you're just starting out in the park or exploring the slopes with your buddies.

Who is the K2 Chloro snowboard for?

The Chloro is aimed above all at beginner to intermediate riders who want a forgiving board that's easy to ride and not heady, ideal for chaining together runs on the piste and starting to send out a few tricks. Perfect for those looking to progress with a reliable and fun board.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
