The Mervin American plant, where this board is manufactured follows a sustainable process, both regarding the use of resources and the choice of materials used to make the snowboards.

What is the program of the Lib Tech Cold Brew snowboard?  

The Cold Brew is designed for freeride and its great versatility allows to venture everywhere no matter the conditions. First of all, you find a directional shape with a setback stance, this ensures natural lift in powder and facilitates turn entries. Then, the hybrid camber combines the advantages of classic and reverse cambers, optimum performances in powder and a good balance between grip and forgiveness on hardpack. Finally, the balanced flex offers stability, rebound and the Magne-Traction edges provide very appreciated grip, to retain good edge hold.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
