Product description — Cold Brew

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Lib Tech Cold Brew is the most accessible directional freeride board in the lineup, designed to help you progress smoothly in off-piste terrain. It’s a board aimed at experienced riders or those in the process of improving who want to discover freeriding on a forgiving and versatile board.

What are the features of the Lib Tech Cold Brew snowboard?

It’s a versatile and accessible freeride board, equally at home in powder as it is on long turns. Its directional shape provides lift and a direct forward trajectory. The W Rocker C2 profile—with rocker between the feet and camber at the tips—provides lift in powder, stability when carving, and agility for freestyle.

Who is the Lib Tech Cold Brew snowboard designed for?

Designed for the intermediate to advanced rider, the Cold Brew is aimed at those who want to progress comfortably in freeride.

  • Riders discovering off-piste and powder.
  • Those who want a forgiving and versatile directional board.
  • Riders looking to gain more independence across the entire mountain.

A top choice if you want an easy-to-ride freeride board to help you improve. Avoid this if you’re looking for a stiff, grippy board for aggressive carving.

Is the Cold Brew suitable for improving your freeride skills?

Yes, its forgiving C2 profile and accessible handling make it a great board for gaining confidence off-piste. It forgives mistakes without trapping you.

Does the Cold Brew float well in powder?

Yes, its directional shape and central rocker provide good float in fresh snow. That’s enough to venture off-piste with confidence.

What’s the difference between the Cold Brew and the Dynamo?

The Cold Brew is the more forgiving of the two, with a W Rocker C2 profile designed for progression, while the Dynamo features a grippier C3 hybrid camber that’s formidable on the piste. Two intermediate directional freeride boards—one easier, the other more aggressive.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
