Product description — Dpr

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Lib Tech Dpr is a versatile board with a distinctly freestyle character. Its precise construction and balanced shape make it an ideal partner for riders looking to progress and pack in plenty of thrilling sessions.

What is the Lib Tech Dpr snowboard built for?

This board is designed to ride the whole mountain and play with the terrain, snowpark features included, with a lively, playful feel. Its directional twin shape with slightly set-back inserts gives better float in powder and lets you ride switch, so you can approach spots with more creativity and sensation. The classic camber delivers grip, precision and plenty of pop to launch off kickers and drive out of a turn.

Who is the Lib Tech Dpr snowboard for?

Made for intermediate to advanced riders, the Dpr suits anyone looking to take their riding to the next level across the whole mountain.

  • Riders who want a single board for the park and the pistes.
  • Those who ride switch and play with the terrain.
  • Freestylers looking for an accessible all-mountain board to progress on.

What are the main strengths of the Lib Tech Dpr snowboard?

Versatility

Pop

Manoeuvrability

Is the Dpr easy to progress on?

Yes, an intermediate rider will find it forgiving enough to progress on, and it will also suit an advanced rider who wants a playful board.

Does the Dpr hold well on hard snow?

Yes, its Magne-Traction edges add extra contact points for better hold on hard and groomed snow. Precision stays high even when the piste firms up.

What is the difference between the Dpr and the Dpr S?

The Dpr is the men's version, while the Dpr S is the women's version, with a construction and flex suited to lighter riders. Same all-mountain freestyle behaviour, different construction.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
