The Lib Tech Rasman is a dynamic, responsive and ultra-polyvalent board, reserved for experienced riders looking for a thrill. It ensures excellent handling on piste while remaining highly maneuverable in powder, with the ability to occasionally venture into the park despite a shape that favors off-piste riding. With its pronounced stiffness and energetic temperament, it's perfect for pushing your limits on all types of terrain.

What's in it for the Lib Tech Rasman snowboard?

Mainly geared towards freeride, this board nonetheless displays great versatility. Its Banana hybrid cambercombines classic and inverted camber zones to offer fluid turns as well as reliable grip on hard or groomed snow. This mixed profile also enhances the buoyancy already provided by its directional shape, while the aspen and paulownia core assembly combined with bi-axial fibers gives it dynamism and responsiveness when exiting curves. The Rasman also benefits from a very firm flex allowing seasoned riders with good technique to ride with rhythm and a big boost out of turns.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
