The Nitro Fate is a women’s all-mountain snowboard designed to tackle groomers, off-piste terrain, and the park all in a single day, with a responsive yet forgiving ride that makes navigating the entire mountain a breeze.

What is the Nitro Fate snowboard all about?

Designed to ride the entire mountain, the Fate transitions seamlessly from groomers to park features without requiring specific terrain. Its Cam-Out camber features a camber section between the feet and softens the nose and tail, providing pop and grip while remaining forgiving. The directional twin shape retains the agility of a twin for riding switch, with a slightly longer nose for added forward stability. The dual tapered radii and Reflex Core Profile make initiating turns easy and handling intuitive.

Is the Nitro Fate suitable for the park?

Yes. Its Cam-Out camber and pop make it at home on kickers and features, more so for jumping than for highly technical jibbing.

Is the Fate designed for deep powder?

That’s not its primary purpose. It’s an all-mountain board geared toward the grooms and the park that handles soft snow well, but without the volume or setback of a board designed for deep powder.

What’s the difference between the Fate and the Fate Pro?

They share the same all-mountain freestyle ethos, but the Fate Pro features a stiffer core and a stiffer flex for more pop and stability on big features. The Fate remains the more forgiving and versatile of the two.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
