The Nitro Lectra Leaf is a versatile freestyle board that lets you have fun all over the resort—on the slopes, on groomed runs, and even in a little powder if conditions allow. It’s a forgiving board that’s easy to ride and very comfortable.

What’s the Nitro Lectra Leaf snowboard all about?

The Lectra Leaf is the board you need for riding on the groomed runs while still offering enough forgiveness to play around on the terrain. Its camber + rocker profile combines the grip and pop of camber between the feet with more maneuverable tips that offer plenty of playfulness. The twin-directional shape, meanwhile, provides agility and a playful feel when riding switch. Its moderate stiffness helps maintain comfort without making the board too demanding.

Who is the Nitro Lectra Leaf snowboard designed for?

Intermediate to advanced riders. This board is suitable for regular riders who want to improve on different terrains, carve cleanly on the piste, and start varying their riding with a few jumps or runs off-piste.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
