Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nitro Mystique is an all-mountain snowboard designed for female riders who love freestyle and suitable for a wide range of riding styles. It guarantees a smooth ride on various snow conditions, with a good balance between ease of handling and a playful feel, allowing you to ride freely throughout the resort.

What are the features of the Nitro Mystique snowboard?

The Nitro Mystique stands out thanks to its hybrid construction, which combines traditional camber with reverse camber zones. This specific shape provides reliable edge grip and greater forgiveness, while minimizing edge errors and offering better performance in powder than a classic camber. With its soft flex and perfectly symmetrical twin-tip shape from nose to tail, it remains easy to control, feels very comfortable in freestyle, and lets you string together butters with ease.

Who is the Nitro Mystique snowboard designed for?

The Nitro Mystique is designed for intermediate to advanced female snowboarders who want an accessible, comfortable, and truly versatile board. It lets you have fun throughout the entire ski area, while retaining the playfulness needed to progress and enjoy freestyle riding.

What are the main qualities of the Nitro Mystique snowboard?

Playful

Progressive

Versatile

Does the Nitro Mystique grip well on hard snow?

That’s where it falls short. The central rocker in the W-shaped profile reduces grip on very hard snow or ice. The camber underfoot compensates for some of the grip loss, but a board with classic camber will still offer better bite.

Is the Nitro Mystique comfortable in powder?

It handles it well thanks to its slight setback, but it’s not a dedicated powder board. For regular days in deep powder, a true directional board will provide better float.

Does the Nitro Mystique remain stable at high speeds?

It prioritizes forgiveness and playfulness over high speed: the flexible W-profile moves more at high speeds. At moderate speeds, it’s perfectly at ease.

What’s the difference between the Nitro Mystique and the Nitro Nova?

The Mystique is a flexible, forgiving W-profile twin-tip board designed for freestyle, switch riding, and features. The Nova is a directional board with classic camber, offering a more engaged ride and better grip in turns.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
