Description

Still in line with a freestyle/all-mountain programme, the Nitro Team differs from its sibling the Nitro Team Gullwing due to its classic camber which provides more pop and character to the board. As with Gullwing Team, there is a Sintered HD Speed Formula sintered sole that offers good gliding quality even on transformed snow.

What is the programme of the Nitro Team snowboard?

The Nitro Team has a twin directional shape, perfectly symmetrical in shape thus enabling comfort in switch, while improving the ride thanks to a slightly set back position of the feet. The flex is directional, more flexible at the front allowing the spatula to work better on soft snow and easily enter curves, more rigid at the rear for better recovery at the end of the turn. The classic camber combined with an invigorating flex offers a really good performance on the track, it's a dynamic board that holds its edge well and doesn't flinch when you pick up speed. Manoeuvrable, stable, pop, switch skills, all its qualities make it a great board for a versatile and athletic all-mountain practice.

Who is the Nitro Team snowboard for?

Ideal to allow an intermediate snowboarder to move up to the next level while maintaining comfort, the Nitro Team is suitable for very experienced snowboarders looking for a playful and versatile board.

What are the main qualities of the Nitro Team snowboard?

Pop

Playability

Versatility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
