Product description — Team

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nitro Team is the must-have board for riders who want to push their limits everywhere without overcomplicating things. A true Nitro staple, this board combines a playful feel with high-level performance, equally at home pulling tricks in the park as it is charging hard on the slopes. Thanks to its responsive classic camber, precise twin-directional shape, and reactive wood core, it delivers powerful runs, plenty of pop, and formidable grip. A true ally for carving up everything from rails to powder!

What’s the Nitro Team snowboard all about?

The Nitro Team is the ultimate versatile freestyle board, designed to perform in parks, string together tight turns on the groomed runs, or make the most of fresh powder days. Its classic camber provides excellent grip and generous pop, while its directional twin shape—combined with a setback and well-balanced flex—creates the ideal balance between maneuverability, stability, and float when the snow gets deep. Perfect for hitting kickers, landing tricks, and carving with commitment!

Who is the Nitro Team snowboard designed for?

The Nitro Team is designed for intermediate to advanced snowboarders, who are already comfortable on a variety of terrains and are looking for a board that’s fun, reliable, and high-performing—one that lets them express themselves in the park as well as throughout the entire resort and continue to improve with every ride.

What are the main features of the Nitro Team snowboard?

Versatility

Pop

Grip

Can you ride the Nitro Team switch?

Yes, its directional twin shape makes it comfortable to ride switch. The nose and tail are nearly symmetrical, allowing you to ride in both directions with almost no difference in feel; only the slight setback is subtly noticeable during extended turns.

Does the Nitro Team handle well in powder?

Yes, it performs well in fresh powder on the mountain. The slight setback in the shape helps the nose lift out of the snow without turning the board into a pure freeride board: a good compromise for powder days between runs, though it’s not a specialist in deep off-piste.

Is the Nitro Team playful for butters and presses?

It’s on the stiffer side—not the most flexible in its category. Butters and presses are still possible but require a bit more effort: the Team prioritizes grip and pop above all else, not an ultra-forgiving flex.

What’s the difference between the Nitro Team and the Nitro Team X Fender?

There’s no difference in performance: it’s the same board. The Nitro Team X Fender is a limited edition collaboration with Fender, the guitar brand. The only difference is the graphic design—not the shape, camber, or flex.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
