Description

The Nitro Team Pro is the top-of-the-line version of the Nitro Team, with a higher end sole for better glide and carbon reinforcement for more pop and dynamism without impacting the weight. The rest of the board has the same directional twin shape, dynamic flex and classic camber, which allows you to send your board through the entire resort on all types of snow, in curves or in freestyle. 

What is the Nitro Team Pro snowboard program?  

With its Powerlite Core, classic camber and Diamond Band carbon reinforcement, the Nitro Team Pro is a responsive board. It offers a powerful ollie pop, grips its edge in cut turns and relaunches strongly in carving mode. The board can be ridden without too much difficulty, the curves are well controlled thanks to the setback position of the feet. This position on the back also allows for a good lift in powder, to be able to play with in fresh snow and off-piste terrain. Carving, slalom between the trees, backcountry freestyle, the Team Pro allows you to vary the programs as you wish. In addition, the higher-end sole gives you even more glide, so you can increase your speed and not be hindered by the sloppy snow.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
