Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Nitro makes a bold statement with the Team Pro, a high-octane version of the legendary Team, built for sending it big across the entire mountain. Its Powerlite Core, crafted from wood and enhanced with Bi-Lite laminate reinforcements and a central carbon stringer, massively increases the board’s pop and responsiveness. Add in an ultra-fast Sintered Speed Formula II base and recycled steel edges, and you’ve got a machine that can charge, slash, and carve all day long. In short, it’s the board Nitro’s pro team riders reach for when it’s time to score in contests or head into the backcountry.

What is the Nitro Team Pro snowboard made for?

All-mountain freestyle at heart, the Team Pro blends a directional twin shape with a traditional True Camber profile for a combination of edge hold and drive that slices through groomers yet retains enough forgiveness to stick clean runs on the kickers in the terrain park. The Reflex Core Profile thins the core between the bindings for added torsion, while the carbon/bi-axial construction delivers a ride that’s powerful, precise, and always full of playfulness. From hardpack to fresh pow, it’s just waiting to be pushed to its limits.

Who is the Nitro Team Pro snowboard aimed at?

Perfect for advanced to expert riders who shred rails, go big off jumps, and charge long lines at full throttle, and who want a solid board that responds to every movement while keeping the ride fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
