Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nitro Team Pro MK is the premium version of the legendary Nitro Team, featuring a specialized base designed to enhance glide and carbon reinforcements to boost pop and responsiveness without adding weight. Like the classic version, the MK also features a twin-directional shape, dynamic flex, and traditional camber. This explosive combination lets you push your limits, whether on groomed runs, in powder, or when pulling off increasingly daring tricks.

What’s the Nitro Team Pro MK snowboard all about?

Built around a Powerlite Core, a classic camber profile, and a Diamond Band carbon reinforcement, the Nitro Team Pro MK is designed for aggressive riding. It delivers plenty of pop on ollies, grips firmly in powerful turns, and offers immediate response with every carving edge catch. Its handling remains relatively accessible for snowboarders with a solid technical foundation, while edge transitions are smooth thanks to a pronounced rear-foot bias—which also helps maintain excellent float in deep snow and allows for smooth riding in powder as well as on natural kickers. Whether you’re carving, riding fast through the trees, or exploring backcountry freestyle, this board offers great freedom of expression. Its high-end base optimizes speed and reduces glide loss caused by snow buildup, ensuring a fast and smooth ride.

Who is the Nitro Team Pro MK snowboard designed for?

The Team Pro MK is primarily aimed at intermediate to expert riders who want a high-performance, no-compromise board capable of all-mountain riding while offering the necessary capabilities to go all out in freestyle, no matter the terrain.

What are the main features of the Nitro Team Pro MK?

Versatile

Responsive

Powerful pop

Can you ride the Nitro Team Pro Marcus Kleveland in switch?

Yes, its directional twin shape makes it comfortable in switch. The nose and tail are nearly symmetrical, allowing you to ride in both directions with very similar feel; the slight rearward bias of the shape is only noticeable during prolonged pressure.

Can the Nitro Team Pro Marcus Kleveland handle big jumps?

Yes, that’s one of its specialties. Its stability allows it to absorb big landings without giving way, and the camber’s pop helps you launch cleanly off the kicker: it’s built for sizable kickers, provided you have the skill level to match.

What kind of flex does the Nitro Team Pro Marcus Kleveland offer?

It’s fairly stiff and responsive. This firm flex gives it precision and support, but it demands commitment: that’s what makes it demanding and unforgiving of sloppy riding, unlike a soft, forgiving board.

What’s the difference between the Nitro Team and the Nitro Team Pro Marcus Kleveland?

The Team Pro takes performance and demands to the next level. While the standard Team remains accessible to intermediate riders, the Team Pro Marcus Kleveland takes grip and stability to the next level, with a stiffer flex and less tolerance: it’s designed for advanced to expert riders, whereas the Team prioritizes versatility for a broader audience.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
