The Destiny is a women’s snowboard developed by Raven. It offers nice performance on any type of snow with a construction based on a poplar wood core, reinforced by biaxial fiberglass, making it lightweight and responsive to ride fast and aggressively, while retaining some playfulness and forgiveness.  

What is the programme of the Raven Destiny snowboard? 

The Destiny is a versatile snowboard, that performs well on any type of snow. Its traditional camber provides good grip on hardpack, while the rocker areas on the tips improve the lift and allow to ride easily on powder. The construction is responsive yet not too stiff, allowing to ride at a good pace and turn aggressively. You can go fast and have a blast on groomers, but you retain some comfort and playfulness to have fun sending freestyle tricks.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
