Description

The Ride Heartbreaker is an entry-level model, yet benefits from a quality construction with a fiberglass reinforced wood core, urethane reinforced edges for added strength and Single Impact Plates under the bindings for better cushioning. It's a very pleasant board to ride, not energy consuming and ideal to enjoy your days at the resort.

What is the program of the Ride Heartbreaker snowboard?

The Ride Heartbreaker is a twin-tip snowboard, that is to say with a perfectly symmetrical shape. This shape allows maximum playability in freestyle, so you can switch without any problem and try all possible tricks. However, this is not a snowboard reserved only for the snowpark, it is also very good on the slopes, with a small classic camber that provides a secure grip on hard snow and rocker zones at the spatula level that provide tolerance while facilitating sliding on the unpacked snow at the edges of the slope. Very easy to handle, this board will allow you to have fun all over the resort!

Who is the Ride Heartbreaker snowboard for?

This model is intended for novice snowboarders looking for a fun and safe board for learning, as well as for advanced snowboarders looking above all for the playability to be able to freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
