Description

The Ride Manic combines a directional shape that offers manoeuvrability and versatility, while remaining balanced enough for switching. The flex is flexible and energy efficient, while maintaining stability thanks to the carbon strips placed along the edges. This makes it a board that is fun to ride and progressive for all terrains.

What is the program of the Ride Manic snowboard?

Designed in a directional way, the Manic has a very progressive front rocker, a triple curve radius and a back-foot position that provides a lot of ease during curves. The turns are really easy to link, while maintaining grip and stability on the track thanks to the classic camber and carbon reinforcements. Thanks to this directional construction it also works well off-piste and allows you to enjoy small slalom runs between the fir trees. It will also allow you to place a few tricks on the bumps at the edge of the slope, with balanced switch landings thanks to a tail as wide as the nose.

Who is the Ride Manic snowboard for?

This model will be perfect for an intermediate Snowboarder looking for an evolutionary board to progress throughout the resort, but it will also please an experienced snowboarder looking for playability and comfort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
