Accessible from intermediate level upwards, the Ride Manic snowboard stands out for its impressive ability to adapt to all areas of the resort. Designed to deliver both control and enjoyment, it promises smooth riding sensations while remaining very comfortable underfoot.

What is the Ride Manic snowboard made for?

Built around a core reinforced with carbon, the Ride Manic features a soft, directional flex that’s accessible to a wide range of riders while still remaining stable and lively. Its directional shape benefits from a more pronounced rocker at the nose than at the tail, complemented by a traditional camber. This allows it to bite into groomers for confident turns and provides good float in powder. The Manic encourages progressive edge hold, and the binding inserts are set slightly towards the tail, making it easier to initiate turns. With the same width at the nose and tail, it’s easy to link spins and ride switch with confidence.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
