Description

With the Ride Wild Life, get a taste of the wild side of the resort! Dynamic on all types of snow, the Wild Life ride goes everywhere, allowing you to link turns on the track as well as to venture off the beaten tracks between the pines. It offers a flexible/medium flex, ideal for maintaining playability and accessibility.

What is the program of the Ride Wild Life snowboard?

The Wild Life has a directional shape, with a lot of rocker in the front and no rocker at all in the back, a well reclined foot position and a triple curve radius, all of which offers great manoeuvrability and ease in curves on all terrains, while providing excellent lift. The classic underfoot camber provides the grip needed to make precise turns on the piste. Also included is a cross carbon reinforcement in the binding inserts, providing additional firmness and torsional rigidity in the key grip areas of the board, without making it more physically demanding. Finally, for added durability, the edges are urethane reinforced with the Slimewalls technology, while you benefit from the Single Impact Panels technology that absorbs some of the vibration when you ride. You get it, the Wild Life allows you to progress from the piste to the off-piste, while maintaining a high level of comfort.

Who is the Ride Wild Life snowboard for?

The Wild Life model is intended for intermediate/confirmed snowboarders, looking for a board that can go everywhere and is not energy consuming thus can be ridden from morning to night.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
