Description

With the Zero Jr, Ride offers a snowboard for children and teenagers that benefits from a construction on the same level of quality as models for adults but with a specific flex profile and dedicated sizes. The twin-tip shape allows to ride both ways, to be comfortable switch and try freestyle tricks. The camber + rocker profile provides grip on groomers, helped by the asymmetrical edges which increase control. The turn radius is different backside and frontside, to compensate for the lack of power frontside. This means it is essential to instal the bindings the right way. Young snowboarders will be able to link turns easily thanks to the soft flex which provides forgiveness and comfort. The rocker areas on the tips improve the handling on ungroomed snow to discover the joys of riding powder. The Zero Jr allows to progress on any terrain as soon you have the basics down.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
