Description

With the Evader snowboard, Rossignol provides everything you need to progress in good conditions. It is a versatile board with which you can initiate turns easily and that will allow you to ride both on groomed runs and around.

What is the program of the Rossignol Evader snowboard?

The Evader features a directional shape, this means the nose is longer than the tail. The advantage of this construction is that the nose floats easily over powder, while the stiffer tail provides high-speed stability. It is an ideal shape to venture off-piste. At the tips, the rockers promote the ability to lift in fresh snow and facilitate edge transfers. With an otherwise classic camber in the middle of the board, the Evader provides excellent grip and very good control of your trajectories. The setback foot stance also helps to initiate turns, no matter the type of snow. This entry level snowboard will prevent you from catching an edge while helping you to ride in the entire resort.

Who is the Rossignol Evader snowboard for?

This snowboard is recommended to beginner and intermediate level riders looking for a model that is easy to handle. The Evader will be particularly suitable for you if you want to ride both on and off-piste to search for deeper snow.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
