The Rossignol One is equipped with a directional twin shape, that is to say symmetrical between the front and rear but with a position of the feet moved back to facilitate the turns and improve the lift. The flex on the other hand is directional, which allows for greater control on the rear foot and offers more comfort at the beginning of the turn. With the One, you can easily link turns on all terrains, but you also get a nice recovery in carving when you press well on the camber. The camber allows you to take advantage of all the energy offered by the wood core, while ensuring a good grip. In addition, the camber is complemented by wavy edges for even more precision on hard snow, while the urethane used in the L.I.T.E. construction helps cushion vibrations. So, you can hit the slopes and off-piste with comfort and playability. The most experienced riders will also take advantage of it to ride switch and freestyle!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
