The Craft is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard developed by Salomon. Is offers a good balance between performance and accessibility, to have fun and shred on the terrain park’s big jumps. 

What is the programme of the Salomon Craft snowboard? 

The Salomon Craft is a symmetrical snowboard, with a centred foot stance to ride both ways. Perfect to have fun in switch, do 180°s and try new tricks. The Popster wood core, reinforced by fiberglass, offers a balanced flex, letting you do presses and butters with ease, yet it has good pop and responsiveness. The traditional camber under the feet provides grip on groomers, while the rocker areas at the tips allow to ride powder with good floatability. Very versatile, it offers good edge hold on groomed runs and works well in the backcountry.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
