The Salomon Lotus is a women’s snowboard developed for all-mountain freestyle riding. Its soft flex and Flat Out camber provide lots of forgiveness and playfulness, to have fun in the entire resort and progress fast. 

What is the programme of the Salomon Lotus snowboard? 

The Salomon Lotus features a Twin-Tip shape, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, with a perfectly centred foot stance. The perfect shape for switch and freestyle riding with ease, while having a playful and forgiving board in the backcountry. The Flat Out profile provides confidence inspiring grip on hard snow, while the rocker areas at the tips offer better floatability on powder and forgiveness on edge catches. Finally, the high-quality construction, with a wood core reinforced by fiberglass and carbon guarantees maximum durability and responsiveness while remaining flexible and easy to ride.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
