Snowboard Jp Walker Pro

American snowboard JP-Walker's pro-model, the JP Walker Pro is a twin-tip with pronounced camber ideal for aggressive freestyle park riding or to hit the slopes and side hits. The camber provides solid grip and explosive pop, allowing to fully enjoy the qualities of the wood core reinforced by triaxial fiberglass. The torsional stiffness is good and enhances the edge hold on hard pack, providing some rebound in the turns and high-speed stability. Yet, you retain some flex and comfort, to feel comfortable on rails and other features and send jib tricks like JP Walker. A definitely freestyle biased board we recommend to advanced snowboarder looking to send lots of tricks, be it the park or anywhere else.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
