Snowboard Street Creep

The Street Creep has a light and tonic wood shell, complemented by two layers of triaxial fibreglass, that provides a rather rigid flex. Power and stability are therefore present and the camber profile also offers great versatility. Finally, the high-density Super Speed S8000 outsole offers an excellent gliding quality.

The Santa Cruz Street Creep combines a construction that offer an excellent power-to-weight ratio, with a perfectly twin-tip shape and the most versatile camber profile available, the classic camber + spatula rocker combo. This results in a board that works very well on the piste, both for long high-speed turns and aggressive carving, but also offers a little bit of fun close to the pines in light powder snow. Still very stable while maintaining a good pop, its symmetrical shape allows you to ride switch without problems and send tricks on natural kickers in freestyle backcountry mode.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
