The Verdad Mistress is a twin-tip snowboard, symmetrical from front to back and with a perfectly centred foot position. It offers a dynamic flex with pop and bounce thanks to its bamboo and carbon reinforcements, yet remains comfortable to ride and play on. It also features kevlar reinforcements, which reduce vibration and improve cushioning. 

What is the programme of Verdad Mistress snowboarding?   

The Verdad Mistress is a very versatile board thanks to its camber + rocker profile and not too stiff flex. It offers playability and forgiveness in freestyle, and works equally well on the piste and on the edges of the piste. It can be used in small powder snow, has a good grip on the piste and enables tricks to be performed without much difficulty. A real machine that will allow you to enjoy yourself throughout the resort, to set the rhythm during descents and to progress in freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
