The YES Dicey is based on the same shape as the YES Jackpot, but with a camber profile offering a little more forgiveness and versatility and one less layer of fiberglass for a slightly softer flex. So, you get more playability on all types of snow, which gives you even more confidence and allows you to progress.

What is the program of the YES Dicey snowboard?

The YES Dicey is a pure twin-tip, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, making it perfectly comfortable for switch and having a variety of freestyle options. The camber + rockers profile provides a secure grip on hard snow, while making it easy to enter and exit curves and to ride through transformed and fresh snow. The MidBite refines the center of the board in order to increase edge-to-edge reactivity, while taking advantage of the nose and tail width for more ease in the fresh snow and a comfortable platform for popping ollies and managing landings. Finally, the flex is well balanced between performance and accessibility, allowing for pop and stability while ensuring the board is energy efficient and easy to ride.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
