The Yes Standard Uninc. D.C. is a snowboard designed for all-mountain freestyle. It has a high-quality construction, with a wood core reinforced by triaxial fiberglass. The board is very powerful and stable, with a symmetrical shape for switch riding and freestyle abilities. 

What is the programme of the Yes Standard Uninc. D.C. snowboard? 

The Standard Uninc. D.C. is a board that guarantees support to make you confident and is precise to shred in the entire ski area. The construction with a wood core that combines paulownia, poplar and bamboo, provides pop and responsiveness. A feeling that is reinforced by the triaxial fiberglass. The directional twin shape, symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly setback foot stance, improves the manoeuvrability and versatility. The traditional camber offers good grip on hardpack, while the rocker areas at the tips allow to initiate turns and lift more easily on powder. With a rather firm flex, the result is a board that can be ridden anywhere at a good pace, while remaining playful for freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
