Amplid's Memory Stick is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard, designed for intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking to enjoy both groomers, freestyle and freeride. This board is the most versatile of Amplid's three all-round boards, with a simple, effective design. Its directional twin shape provides a smoth ride both regular and switch, while its camber + rocker profile promotes manoeuvrability and offers a dynamic pop. Stiffer than the Cab Driver, this board has an medium flex that makes it ideal as a daily driver, whether in powder or on groomed snow. Its Omni Core combined with Biax fibreglass offers the perfect combination of lightness and stability. This is a great everyday board, ultra versatile, with real freestyle, powder and piste capabilities for riders who are past the beginner stage and want to enjoy the mountains.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
